Construction Trade Inquiries
The Mountain Chalet Development is expected to begin construction in the spring of 2010. Excavation, utility and site work will run through May. Building will begin in June 2010. We are currently accepting requests from contractors in all segments of the building trades. We are seeking those who are local to the area and preferably reside in Charlevoix, Emmet and the surrounding counties.
To be considered in the bidding process, you must provide the following in advance:
- Proof of satisfactory work experience in your trade.
- At least 3 references from clients whom you have completed work for in the last 3 years.
- Proof of a current Contractors General Liability Policy.
- Proof of a current Workers Compensation Policy if a corporation or LLC.
- Proof of a current State of Michigan License in your respective trade if required. (i.e.: electrical, plumbing, mechanical)
