The Village Style “B” chalets will be centrally located along the development’s main roadway. The units’ architectural styling will be a modern version of the 19th century Swiss/Austrian mountain chalets. The units will consist of 3 stories. All of these units will be adjacent to the common pool and play structure. All units will include 24-hour access storage closets for each fractional owner. The units will have 4 bedrooms, 3-1/2 baths and a floor area of just over 2,200 square feet.
The units will utilize a crawl space and be built on an 8” concrete foundation wall. The crawl space will include a 2” concrete slab sub- floor and 2” of Rigid Insulation along the foundation wall. The units' utilities will be located within the crawl space. Access to the utilities will be located under the stair, in the pantry. The units will consist of 2x6 wood wall construction with R-19 thermal batt insulation and or cellulose insulation. Silent Floor TJI joists will be used to frame the flooring of the units and batt insulation will be incorporated within the floor and roof cavity. The roof will be layered in 30-year architectural shingles and/or a standing seam metal roof. Pella Designer Series or Kolbe Heritage Series will be specified for the windows and doors of the units. The interiors of the units will include granite or composite counter tops, carpet, wood and tile flooring. Kolher fixtures will be specified for both the kitchen and baths.
The units will incorporate sustainable design practices and be Energy Star rated.
